1. Introduction --------------------------------------------------------------
This package contains DiscPlay for Windows 95 and Windows NT. You can find
the latest version of DiscPlay at the World Wide Web URL listed in the
CONTACTS.TXT file and the "About DiscPlay" window.
DiscPlay is an $8.00 shareware audio CD player for Windows 95 and Windows NT.
It offers many useful and unique features, including:
- Support for multiple custom playlists for each album.
- Collection searching and flexible printing.
- Integrated access to the Internet-based xmcd-cddb album information
database.
- Extensive options for customizing the program.
2. Legal Issues --------------------------------------------------------------
SHAREWARE --
DiscPlay is not free software. You are hereby licensed to use DiscPlay for
evaluation purposes without charge for a maximum of 30 days. If you choose
to continue using DiscPlay after this 30-day evaluation period, you must
register your copy of DiscPlay. Registration costs $8.00US (by mail) or
$10.00US (online registration with a credit card), and all payments must
be in US dollars drawn on a US bank (see "How Do I Register DiscPlay?" in
the on-line help for more information). Each registration entitles you to
use DiscPlay on exactly one computer for as long as you see fit.
Unregistered use of DiscPlay after the 30-day evaluation period is in
violation of U.S. and international copyright laws.

You are encouraged to distribute as many copies of DiscPlay as you
wish, provided that you distribute only the original DISCP3xx.ZIP or
DISCP3xx.EXE archive file. You may not distribute the files contained
in the archive separately, and you may not modify the archive in any
way. You may not charge for copies of DiscPlay, except to cover media
and handling costs where appropriate.
You may not, under any circumstances, distribute your registration
password, serial number, or any other material that may override the
startup nag screen.

3. How To Install DiscPlay ---------------------------------------------------
To install DiscPlay, simply open the SETUP.EXE program and follow the
on-screen prompts. If were previously using an older version of DiscPlay,
you should remove it first. See "How To Remove DiscPlay" for instructions.
4. How To Remove DiscPlay ----------------------------------------------------
To remove DiscPlay, follow these steps:
1 Click the Windows Taskbar's "Start" button.
2 Click "Settings."
3 Click "Control Panel."
4 When the Control Panel appears, double-click the "Add/Remove Programs"
icon.
5 When the Add/Remove Programs window appears, locate "DiscPlay" in the
program list. Click on it once to highlight it.
6 Click the "Add/Remove" button.
